IPM Council appoints new Executive Director

The IPM Council of Canada announced today that long-time environmental policy and operations specialist Wendy Burgess will succeed retiring Executive Director Teri Yamada to lead the Council into the future.

Wendy brings significant experience with both not-for-profit and for-profit organizations, including the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority and most recently as the Director of Corporate Policy and Operations for ClubLink Corporation. These skill sets are well suited to guide the Council through ever-changing business and regulatory environments. As a past president of the IPM Council of Canada, she also brings a deep understanding of any challenges that the Council may face into the future.

Teri Yamada has agreed to stay on for a brief period after Wendy assumes the role of Executive Director on January 1, 2023, to ensure a smooth transition.
